Return & Exchange Request Deadline

Requests submitted after this period may not be accepted, except where required by applicable consumer protection laws. This request requirement does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law to withdraw within 14 days.

To be eligible for a return or exchange, items must:

  • Be unused, unworn, and unwashed. (Trying on indoors is permitted; wearing outdoors is not).

  • Be returned in their original condition and packaging.

  • Have all original tags, labels, and accessories attached.

  • Show no signs of use, wear, damage, scent, or alteration.

🚫 Items that have been used outdoors, worn, washed, or altered are NOT eligible for return, exchange, or refund under any circumstances.

Order Cancellation Before Delivery

If your order has already entered the processing or dispatch stages, cancellation will only be possible after delivery, following the standard return procedure outlined below.

How to Request a Return or Exchange

Requests made through social media, chat, or any other channel will not be processed.

To initiate a request, please email us, including:

  • Your order number

  • Reason for return or exchange

  • Clear photos or videos if the item is damaged or incorrect

Returns sent without prior email authorisation will not be accepted.

Exchanges

Exchanges are processed exclusively via email and are subject to stock availability. All exchange requests must comply with the return conditions outlined above.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at [properwearoficial@gmail.com], providing clear photo or video evidence.

If confirmed as our error:

  • Return shipping costs will be covered by Properwear.

  • You may choose between a replacement (subject to availability) or a full refund.

Refunds

Properwear accepts payments via the methods available at checkout (e.g., Credit/Debit Card and PayPal).

All approved refunds are processed automatically through the original payment method:

  • Card payments → refunded to the original card

  • PayPal payments → refunded to the original PayPal account

Refunds are issued within 14 business days after we receive and approve the returned item. The time for funds to appear in your account depends on your card issuer or PayPal processing times.

Return Shipping Costs

  • Customer Preference: Returns due to wrong size ordered, change of mind, or personal preference are subject to return shipping costs paid by the customer.

  • Our Error: Returns due to a Properwear error (damaged or incorrect item received) will have shipping costs covered by us.

Refusal of Delivery

Please refuse delivery from the courier if:

  • The outer packaging is visibly damaged or opened.

  • The item label obviously does not correspond to your order.

If you accept delivery and later identify an issue, you must notify us within 48 hours, with photo or video evidence.

Policy Enforcement

Properwear reserves the right to refuse any return or refund that:

  • Does not comply with this policy.

  • Shows signs of use or wear.
